Car wont start after sitting for 6 hours runs like new if you start it before 6 hours codes p1496 always there when it fails to start.

Yes the car will fail to start due to this error code p1496.Its possible. Description of code P1496 is 5 Volt Supply Output Too Low. But to locate the exact fault you will need to do some troubleshooting. The 5 V ref. can be low for a couple reasons. 5V is supplied to several engine sensors, like the crank, cam, Map, etc. It's not uncommon on chryslers for one of the sensors to short the 5 V. reference voltage and get that code. To check if a sensor is bad and shorting the ref. just check for voltage on the 5V ref as you unplug each sensor. If the 5 V. ref. returns, the last sensor you unplugged is the shorted sensor. It's usually the crankshaft sensor, but not always. If the 5 V. ref. still is shorted after unplugging all sensors that receive 5V. ref, check for 5 V. at the PCM. If it's present at the PCM, there's an open or short after the PCM. If there isn't 5V ref at the PCM, it's probably a bad PCM. That is a 5 volt supply too low. You will want to check the connections at the MAP and TPS sensors. --------

Thanks. keep updated for any more query.you can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

here is my advice : Just go to www.microsoft.com and download internet explorer again and install it , then reboot your system . I'm sure that this will solve the problem . any way , why don't you try other internet communication softwares like ( firefox or google chrome) those both are great also . I advice you to have more than one internet communication software . I already have three just in case if one of them is corrupted . I have ( Internet explorer and firefox and google chrome ) . just try the idea and you'll be satisfied with the result .
good luck .

rate if useful please !

Hallo there i have an error code 10-389on docucolor12

The code refers to a paper jam in the fuser, although this may not be technically correct, the fuser heats the paper and melts the toner if this process is comprmised it may slow the progress of the paper through the fuser. Try the 3 links below see if they help, if necessary power down the printer and disconnect the plug for 2 minutes to reset the sensors
