First replace the CMOS battery. Question: When you turn it off, are you shutting down with the Start Menu RESTART, shut down? OR pushing the on/off button. If you post the Acer Model and the OS you are using it would be helpful. Is the Battery in the laptop? Is it charging?

SOURCE: Laptop Power

I fixed some notebooks with this kind of problem. The switches used in almost all notebooks are small pcb-mounted tactile switch. In time the contacts corrode or dirt go inside. The easy way is to remove the switch cover and cleaning the contact. If you can solder SMD you can replace with a new one...that is if you can open the notebook. Dismantling a notbook is a headache. The switch looks like one in the attached photo

SOURCE: The system clock will not

You need to set the correct date and time in your system BIOS. To access that you need to press the correct key when the computer is first booted (usually DEL or F10/F2/F11).
Most computers will have a message stating press xx Key to enter setup or etc.
If this problem persists even after setting the correct time in your BIOS, your laptop needs a new CMOS battery. I recommend having a professional do this.

Compaq Presario CQ62 faulty BIOS or not!?

Your computer will not start up with out a BIOS working, it starts the hard drive and loads the operating system.

The CMOS memory stores parameters which are updated by the operating system. Hence it needs a battery to keep the parameters. It also needs the operating system to make any necessary changes to start up again.

I do not know your full model number, but this utility will check if your pc is bootable.

Do not boot

Usually when you are updating the BIOS, you are warned that your computer must be plugged in and you MUST NOT interrupt the process, otherwise your computer will be rendered inoperable.
Looks like that is what happened to you.

The only suggestion I have is to seek help from the Toshiba website--search for something like "BIOS update inerrupted" in the upper right corner of the website.

Phone memory

As it shows less internal memory, it seems that you have transfered some data like mp3, video clips through bluetooth to this phone and it was saved in the recieved folder which autmatically saves in phone memory. Try saving the data to memory card and you will get the phone memory free.

Update BIOS for memory upgrade

You cannot change the memory settings in BIOS. All you need to do is go into the bios screen. confim that it has seen your new memory and "save and exit" If it is not showing your new memory try removing and reinstalling the memory confirming it is installed correctly. it should just see it.

Possible USB2 problems/Cam problem

When booting up, go into the bios settings and locate where you can reset the bios to it's defaults, save and exit. After doing bios updates you need to reset the defaults as it will leave default info corrupt from the update. Afterwards if it still doesn't work, go to the device manager, locate imaging devices and remove the driver for the camera, reboot and let it install. Hopefully that will do the trick.

Cannot access pics

Once you took pictures without a memory card, all pictures taken will automatically be saved on the INTERNAL MEMORY of the camera.
When taking pictures with a memory card, all pictures are just saved on the memory card itself.
If you are seeing 100-757 on the LCD screen. It means that there are already 757 pictures taken from the first time you've used the camera.
It is possible that some of the pictures are in the internal memory and some are in the memory card.

STEPS to DOUBLE CHECK:
1) Remove memory card out of the camera
- Turn on camera
- View pictures on the internal memory
by just pressing on the PLAY mode button
(lowest of the 3 little buttons)
- Pictures seen are just the ones saved on the internal memory

2) Return memory card back in the camera
- Turn on camera
- View pictures on the internal memory
by just pressing on the PLAY mode button (
lowest of the 3 little buttons)
- Pictures seen are just the ones saved on the memory card itself

*** If you want to transfer pictures on the internal memory of the camera to your MEMORY CARD, you just have to follow the steps below:
- Make sure there is a memory card inside the camera
- Turn on camera
- Press on PLAY mode button to view pictures
- Press MENU/OK button
- Keep scrolling to the right until you see COPY TO CARD
- Select YES using the arrow keys
- Press MENU/OK to confirm
* When you've done these steps, all pictures from the INTERNAL MEMORY of the camera will be copied to your MEMORY CARD but it depends on the space left on your memory card

** If still, you could not view the pictures, it's possible that the pictures are really gone when you have transferred the previous pictures to your computer.

** Once you have transferred pictures to your PC, and you have deleted those on your camera, the FILE NAME of the pictures will not start from 100-001 again unless you have reset the file name on the settings of your camera.

In example, i already have 256 pictures on my camera so the filename reads 100-256 for the last picture taken. And then i decided to transfer those 256 pictures to my PC and i deleted those immediately after being transferred. So, as i took another picture, FILENAME will start with 100-257 if i have not reset
the FILE NAME settings to 100-001.

Hope i've helped you enough.
