Frigidaire self cleaning instructions models RE-34BA REG-36A REG-36CA RSE-37BAL

Frigidaire models RE34BA REG36A REG36CA RSE37BA instructions for self cleaning oven. Taken from owners manual: Setting the controls: 1. Close the oven door 2. Make sure the clock shows the correct time of day. 3. Be sure the Start Time knob is set for the same time as the clock. If not, turn the knob to the time on the cock. The knob will thin poop out. 4. Set the Stop Time for 2 to 3 hours past the Start Time. EXAMPLE: If the Start Time and Clock read 1:00, set the Stop Time for 3:00 or 4:00. 5. Set the Temperature Control to CLEAN. 6. Set the Selector to CLEAN. The door will lock and the oven signal light will come on. The oven signal light will stay on until the oven reaches its cleaning temperature. The clean light will come on when the oven temperature reaches approximately 550 degrees. The oven signal light will then cycle on and off to show the temperature is being maintained. It will then go off at the end of the cycle indicating that the high temperature phase is completed.. The oven must now COOL FOR ABOUT 1 HOUR or until the interior temperature has dropped below 550 degrees. Only then can the door be unlocked. The clean light will remain on until the oven cools below 550 degrees.

To locate instructions regarding self-clean on your Frigidaire range I would need to have your model number. Self clean instructions

Hello jeffreyandje - Do you have the exact model number so I can provide you instructions on how to use the self-clean mode? Meanwhile, the manual and operating instructions can be found on the manufacturer link. I will recommend taking off the last letter of the model number so you can pull up the information.

I wish I had a solution for you...unfortunately I don't. However, if you know anywhere I might find a thermostat knob for this model I would be eternally grateful. I've been searching for 2 years for my mother. It's the knob with 5 settings (off, bake, broil, time-bake and clean).

The self cleaning instructions for my Frigidaire Gallery Pro Series Model FEB798WCCH do not inform how long to set timer. Any instructions would be helpful as I've never operated a self cleaning oven...

Hello- The function is automatic when clean button is pushed. Oven will lock, and turn on at full power for about 90 mins. This 'feature' can, and usually does eventually burn out circuits in the control board. Techs call this the 'self-destruct' option, cheerfully promoted by the salesman. Avoid using 'self clean'!  Scrape and clean with light soap/water. Turn on to 450deg. for about 30 min. This is about half the temp. of a 900deg. 'clean' cycle and a lot less expensive in the long run. Please acknowledge this post if info is helpful- have more if needed.- Thanks- Ed

Frigidaire electri clean selfcleaning feature

It locks automatically. You can download the manual from Frigidaire here (as I just discovered while trying to figure out how to use the self-cleaning feature :) ): http://www.frigidaire.com/support/manuals.asp?NewSearch=New+Search

You don't need to type in the whole model number. For example, if the model number (found in the upper left when you open the oven door) is RSE37BAW*4, you only need to enter RSE37BA.

Good luck!
