Suspect that the carburettor will be gummed up or corroded from the fuel drying out over the non use period.

Car won't start - repeatedly clicks when I try to crank

The first issue is the clicking response. That always means the starter isn't getting the voltage it needs which usually means a dead battery. If the battery is good under load testing then it's either the voltage regulator or a bad ground connection. The ground wire may have corroded so check that first and the battery connections. The ground wire bolts to the block. I recommend the you jump start the car after you find the problem. Now go to an auto parts store that will test your ignition system: alternator, battery, etc. while running. O'Reilly does it in MI. The car is old so it may need spark plugs, wires, fuel filter, etc. Candidly, it may be time to take it to a good mechanic.

I have a Poulan 2750 Farm Hand 2.8 ci saw with 20" bar. Been a great saw but this last winter all the oil leaked out of the oil tank and made a real mess. What does it take to fix that and is it...

Quite honestly the cheap solution to the problem is to either empty the tank before you store it, or put it on top of an oil pan.
If it isn't the cap that's leaking, your looking at a heck of a lot of work. The tank is integrated into the frame. If you want to replace it, you'll be tearing the whole saw apart.

Poulan has had a notorious carb issue over the past couple of years. Products roll off the line needing a carb adjustment right out of the box. One adjustment is covered under the warranty at a service dealer near you. Look up your closest dealer at poulan.com. This is not something consumer serviceable as it requires a special tool.

Poulan 2150 very hard to pull start..first time this season trying to start...seems like too much compression...pulls nice and easy with spark plug removed..with the spk plug in...very hard to pull..still...

If fuel leaked into the engine over the winter, it could cause very hard-to-pull problems. Remove the plug, ignition off, with the cylinder/head down, pull it through vigorously to see if expels any fuel. Replace last year's fuel with fresh fuel mix. It's a good idea to allow the engine to run out of fuel before storage. Does this engine have a compression release? If so, it may need cleaning to work properly. Hope this helps!

Looking for manual for Poulan countervibe 3700 What is the oil to fuel ratio?

IAW with specifications here (40:1 - 1 gallon of premium fuel to 3.2 ounces of quality 2-cycle oil)

The OM for a 3700 is not loaded. Please try here:

Fuel/Oil Mixture
  1. Use a quality 2 cycle oil and mix it to the OIL suppliers recommended ratio. Today I use Stihl 2 cycle oil mixed @ 50:1 in a Pioneer that I purchased new in 1980. There are no gouges or scratches on the piston or cylinder and I have no carbon build up on the piston top. The manual (on stone tablets) recommends 24:1. Over the years the mixture has leaned from 24:1 (Saw Recommendation) to 28:1 (Lawn boy mower recommendation) to 32:1 (Oil provider 1gal premium/4oz chainsaw 2-cycle engine oil - used for many years) and finally the last 5 (±) years 50:1 (1gal premium/2.6oz Stihl 2-cycle engine oil)
  2. Any fuel containing ethanol is not good with chainsaws. Mix what you expect to use within a few weeks. Anything over 1.5 months old use up in a 4 cycle engine. HTH
