I have a Asus c90s laptop and an Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN installed it works fine when its plugged in AC however does not register as installed once its disconnected and have to go into device manager after replugging it to get it to recognize Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks
Is this a recent issue? Has there been ANY damage? Have you tried to reseat the Wireless Network card? Is the battery in good condition? Need replacing?

SOURCE: Burning smell on my laptop
Unless you have the ability to to replace the plug connector part yourself, you will have to take it in to a shop who can do that kind of fine soldering for you. If nothing else is damaged, it should be ok with replacing just that burnt out part.
