Question about Toshiba Computers & Internet
Hi, i have a toshiba calmee titan 500GB. All this time it worked fine with my mac, but suddenly it went undetected in my mac. The blue light in the hard disk is on every time I plug it into the mac, but even after minutes-hours of waiting, no external hard disk was detected on the mac. I don't know what to do, i've plugged in every usb slots there is on my mac and it's still undetected. Help!?!
The interface in the case would seem to have failed. They are usually not the same standard as those used in a computer.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

My system is brand new, and completely protected with Macaffe, other USB drives are working fine, I checked Seagate External drive in other Vista and XP laptops, it is not detected in computer, as well I checked with even Device Manager, and UVCView.x86, it is not even showing as a USB device Connected.

SOURCE: Hi, my Transcend 500GB Hard
This could eitehr be a physical problem due to drive damage or possibly a problem with the spindle. Can you hear the drive spinning up when the blue lights flash?

The Mac and the windows file system are different. So if you
will connect a Mac file system formatted hard drive to a windows system then it
may occur. To retrieve your data from your MAC hard drive you have to connect
the drive to a Mac system.
Check the cables of the hard drive or replace them. You can
try to connect with another port of the mother board. If the Bios don't detect
your hard drive then check the bios settings. If the bios detects your hard
drive but you can't access it then try to repair the OS to retrieve your data.
