How do I back up my computer?

I know it's a basic question but I think I have been doing it incorrectly. Everything is plugged into the right spot but I'm not sure what to do on my desktop (MacBook Pro).

My 1996 dodge ram 1500 v8 5.9 check engine light is on. Also when I start the truck it doesn't stay running it stalls unless I give it a lot of gas and go. A buddy of mine has a scanner and the codes...


It is stalling because of incorrect air/ fuel ratio is wrong. Rectify all the codes and it will run properly. Remember that it is computer controlled so if all the sensors are operating as designed then the computer will adjust the settings to make it run right. .

Engin cannot running after replace timing belt


What happened before, nizam ? Was the old belt still together, it didn't break with the engine running, did it? Most, but not all, 4 cylinder engines are "interference" engines, meaning if not in perfect time by the timing belt, then piston tops and valves can strike each other and cause major internal damage, bent or broken valves, sometimes even pokes a hole in the piston. Big trouble, you see. That's why I ask if you were just replacing an old belt with a new one.
If that's the case, go back over your procedure, think carefully if you did everything right. Personally, I would never attempt any such job without a repair manual to refer to. Every manufacturer has their own unique way for removal and installation, and it's a very handy checklist to go back over and be certain everything is done-down to the last screw and electrical connection...and so on.
If you appreciate all that, and you think you got the timing spot on, and you rechecked all electrical connections for sure connected, then it's back to basics: gas, air, spark, and compression-that's all the cylinders need to burn the mixture, and zap ! engine running. Listen for the pump, injectors have to be working, check for spark, etc, etc. Always good to know your engine compression figures, anyway, how good the internal workings are. So if you got gas and spark, do a quick compression test. A decent compression tester will cost about $30-$40. Good compression will tell you the valves and piston rings are good, doing their job, and the timing is within range of being right.

start by disconnecting the power commander and plug the origional injector leads on and try that other optin is to go on dynojets website and download a basic map for the power commander and try this....ps the coils should be tightend aswell as they require grounding to work correctly....try here for maps...

I have a 2004 rodeo I had a new motor put in it and now it has a rough idle changed coil pack spark plugs checked fuel pressure and still has a rough idle and yes timming is set right


You need to take it back to the person that did the engine swap. IF he was confident and competent enough to do the job, he should be able to put it back like it was. And if all the mechanics you talked to told you that you have to reprogram the computer to accept the engine, they ought to tell you how to do it. I'd like to know to, because this is the first I've heard of this in 20 years of experience. Generally, if all you did was change the mechanical part of the engine, and all of the electrical stuff is the same, the computer wouldn't know the difference. Besides, the computers in modern cars are adaptive to a degree. There is no master reset button.

Left Break light only works when you turn on the Right Turn Signal. All fuses are operational.


You've got wires rubbing together in your rear harness. The first spot to check is the plug-in between the frame and box. It is located on the inside of the frame on the driver's side at just before the bumper. Quite often it builds up with corrosion and makes everything work funny.Look inside the plugs as well as inside the back where the wires go in. If it looks suspicious the easiest thin g to do is cut it out and splice the wres together. If you think you need to do this, use "heat shrink tube" instead of electrical tape. It is far superior.
If the plug-ins look good then your problem is most likely in the harness going up to the lights.I've never had a problem before with the harness going back from the fuse box. After you remove the tail light covers you can feed the harness, without the bulbs, down the hole in the box corner. Unwrap it and start checking for bare spots in the insulation. You'll have to tape them up unless you want to cut the wires for tubing. Start with the driver's side, it's usually where most of the problems are, but make sure you go all the way across and do the passenger side too.
The harness going to the back is in a hard plastic cover but unless the cover is worn through, it shouldn't be a problem. If you need to replace it, it comes right off the fuse block. Under the hood, ondo the bolt in the center of the fuse block and remove the plug in on your left. It may have 1 wire on it that doesn't go to the back of the truck. I just cut it and spliced it back into the new harness.
While you are doing this make sure you clean up your ground wires, bare metal to bare metal. Hope this helps.

Check to see that nothing is clogging the machine. If you don't find anything, then the fan on the motor may be broken or chipped.

My belkin wont connect, the light flashes orange and says no internet access. Everything is plugged in the right spot and we have rang the belkin company up. but no use. ???


reset it and then load the belkin cd before you hookup the router to the system and then when it tells you too then hook up the router,make sure to revert back to the way it was hooked up before you got the router

Number 1 spark plug for 2000 Mazda MPV


The cylinder order is 1,2,3 (rear row, left-to-right) and then 4,5,6 (front row, left-to-right).
When replacing spark plug wires or plugs, it's very helpful to do one at a time to avoid connecting them incorrectly.

Sound problems


your speaker connections are plugged in incorrectly or the speakers are not plugged in and powered on.
check the back of the computer where your speakers are plugged in and make sure you speakers are plugged into the right colors
