I asked a question about getting new handles for my arcosteel saucepans and got referred to the Cars and trucks secrtion!!!

Arcosteel is pretty much lower end Stainless Steel cookware and unfortunately you will not be able to buy NEW parts for them as is also the case with most of the expensive brands. If any of your items are unusable because of the handle condition you will need to buy a new saucepan.

You might find people trying to sell off used sets cheaply in good condition and you could use the handles off those or the complete unit.

Why does my saucepan burn food at the bottom

It may be due to thin base, you should check the base of your pan while purchasing. The stainless steel Saucepans and posts would be better choice. Check out GroomNStyle for high quality Saucepans and posts.

Very very hot saucepan made round mark on granite. Removal?

My mother had this happen to her. What she did was have a carpenter come in and cut out the mark and install a glass "hot" resistant spot. What i would recommend, cut out the burn and install a ceramic that matches the existing granite so that you can place hot items on it.
