Question about Hyundai ImageQuest HQL260WR 26 in. HD-Ready LCD Television
Hi, I've a Hyundai LCD TV (HLT 3010) for 2 years plus. Recently, it has a problem. The pictue suddenly turns black but still has voice when it is powered up from off to 2 min, after that it is ok. It seems need to warm up. Between from off to 2 min period, I try to switch to other channel, after 2 or 3 sec, it turns to black again and keep the voice. I did check the power supply, the plug is firmly connected, no loose. Kindly advise what's happened and can I fix myself? Thank you very much Best Regards, Edmund
This is quite a common problem on LCD televisions.
It is not a fault you can repair yourself unless you are a competent electronics engineer.
One of the transformers on the inverter board will be the cause as the tend to go open circuit. Being surface mounted adds to the dificulty of changing this item as well.
