What is error 4f on a brothers fax all in one machine

This usually always turns out to be a broken printhead. If it's under warranty (one year) get to an authorized service center and Brother will cover all the costs except your time and gas. If it's just past warranty, call Brother's customer support and beg. Sometimes they issue work orders for warranty service on machines that are past their warranty.
If it's out of warranty, I'd recommend giving up on it. The parts are expensive, it's time-consuming (expensive), and you can buy a replacement machine pretty cheaply. www.BrotherMall.com lists refurbished, more advancedicon1.png machines for $90.

Warranty for singer 7436

When/Where did you buy the machine. Most machines these days only have a 90 warranty. Janome has a bit longer... then of course there's the warranty the seller may or may not sell you.

Personally? I would toss that Singer as far as I could then let the neighbor boys shoot at it. I'm sorry they just aren't made like they used to be and Singer is not well regarded by seamers anymore. Spend your $$$$ on a Janome or Babylock.

Warrantee for Esante

The 25 year warranty only applies to parts that came from the factory defective: not parts that break during use. It also only covers replacement of the part, not labor to repair nor transportation of the part.

The 25 year warranty is probably the most useless warranty in existence. Some company (that shall remain nameless,) started advertising it heavily many years ago, and everyone else followed suit to compete.

Most machines have an effective 1 year parts and labor, and 5 year electronics warranty.

For a more accurate diagnosis of your machine, bring it to a warranty station. They'll be able to tell you the warranty status of your machine as well as diagnose the problem, and repair it as necessary.
