Motorola W315 Screen Problem

-   Exact same problem. Inside display is illuminated but blank, outside display with time / date colors inverted. Tried master reset (walked through with another phone to get to appropriate menu area) - did not fix the problem. -   bc4_3sky

-   I have the same trouble. The main display screen is always blank but illuminated, and the smaller front display works fine but the colors are inverted. I suspect it is a software problem and not a hardware malfunction. Does anyone know how to reset this model without a working display screen? Does anyone know how to extract the phone book/contact list without a working display? Any help would be appreciated.-   zachvollrath

-   Yeah, my phone started acting up the same way-- it still recieves calls fine, my alarm still goes off way too early in the morning.....but the inside screen is just white, and the outer screen has the black and white pixels inverted. I've tried the basics (restarting, removing and replacing the battery, charging) but nothing seems to be working.-   grayner
