I Have Kenmore side by side model #10657022601. I cant unlock control panel for water and Ice , I hold the button in for 10 sec and stay lock , it should unlock in 3 sec.

You will need to remove the ice maker from the freezer compartment to check it. Once it is repaired if the following information does help, and you reinstall the ice maker, it should go through a cycle automatically within an hour of your reinstalling it in the freezer compartment. Once you have the ice maker out of the freezer compartment you will need to remove the white cover on the end of the ice maker and look at the center of the large white gear. If the part inside the hole in the center of the gear is broken or looks twisted, you will need to replaced the module. The module is the part that has the large white gear and is held in the ice maker by 3 phillips head screws. It only comes as an assembly. You can't get just the little broken piece.

Panasonic NV-SD235 gives F06 message after I reset alighment. What can I do?

There's a small gear on the end of the loading motor, there is also a tiny little white piece that pushed on, you'll find a small crack in that. If you can't get the plastic piece you can super glue the little white piece on again. This problem is VERY common. Look for the hairline crack, it show up quite easily as the grease gets in it. You have to take the loading motor out and worth giving that a spray as well, but the motor is usually ok. Regards Tim

2001 Saturn manual stick shift just popped and started wobbling loosely while i was shifting from 1st to 2nd. My clutch works but, the stick shift won't go into any gear

sounds like your washers/bearings/spacers finally degraded. To make sure, pop off the little flexy cover. You will see a linkage that goes straight into the transmission. If the bearings there (the little white plastic ones) look eaten up, that's most likely your problem.

I had to replace my twist shifter cable for the front deraileur. A small metal "V" shaped piece dropped out, how do I put this back in and at what position.

Those are pretty tough to replace... The shape of the plastic shifter case should be your guide- there's a little nook that the v-shaped metal sits in. I *believe* that the side with the little bump-out goes towards the middle of the shifter- but you could look for what's called an "exploded diagram" of your shifter online (use the numbers & letters on the shifter for your search). Then you have to line up the two parts correctly (with the number 7 on one part at the little white line on the other) and twist them back and forth just a little bit while you push them together. Sometimes those little guys are impossible to put back together once they've come apart. You could find a cheap replacement for around $25- or try used!
Good luck!

Bernina 730 locks up, had to turn it off & back on 3 times before it would do anything. I switched it from sewing to embroidery, totally locked. It's been to the shop twice recently.

Typically, ther are two problems with locked up Bernina 730's:
1. Look for a split in the worm gear on the cam stack...(white Delrin systhetic gear attached to the steel cams.
2. Look for a crack in the vertical shaft gear...(Delrin synthetic gear as well)
These gears have given great performance for over 40 years and may need to be replaced...
