SOURCE: how do i tighten the chain on my trail blazer 250

I think it is like my 500 scrambler if it is, look at the rear axle, there are 2 bolts back there That I believe have 5/8 heads on them. Loosen those and then look to the let and there are 2 bolts that hold the brake caliper on, they have 1/2 heads on them loosen those. The axle if like mine will have what looks like a big bolt head on the left side. Take a big wrech, pipe wrench will work if nothing else and turn it one way or the other. One way loosens the chain one way tightens it. After you have the chain tight, re- tighten all the bolts and you're done

SOURCE: mongoose tactic mountain bike / loose crank on

The crank has to be removed to tighten the nut that holds the gear on. I assume that is your problem is with the chain gear on the sproket that is loose

2005 kymco moongoose 250 won't start, replaced battery and starter solinoid i have lights but won't turn over.it will turn over if its jumped> ideas??

Hi, Jenni and the usual suspects are:
1. Ignition Switch not in the "ON" position.
2. Engine Run Switch in the "OFF" position.
3. Discharged battery, needs to be 12.5 volts or better and be able to pass a load test if necessary.
4. Check the battery terminals for damage or corrosion check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
5. Tip over sensor needs a reset.
6. Faulty ignition switch.
7. Faulty starter button.
8. Faulty kickstand or clutch pull in switch/sensor.
9. Starter control circuit, relay, or solenoid faulty.
10. Main fuse or circuit breaker may be blown or faulty.
11. Check for engine trouble codes.

Kymco mongoose 250 won't start

Remove battery terminals and clean both posts and terminals
with sandpaper until you see shiny metal. The black coating is lead sulphate which has a high resistance to current flow both into and out of the battery. Have a load test done on the battery also as a cell may have dies while you were riding and the bike was running on the alternator.

How to tighten chain on a kymco atv

Hi Matt only help I can give is look along top & bottom of chain for a tensioner it will be a round rubber wheel. If you cant find a tensioner it will more than likely you need to cut the chain down. If your not sure how to let me know & i'll let you know how. Also DO NOT USE IT while chain is loose as if you do & chain comes off you can crack engine case which then means a new engine
