The grill element gets warm but not hot enough to cook. I think this means the element itself is ok but something else isn't. Any suggestions?

could be a faulty thermostat or a problem switch for the grill

Ssangyong rodius problems

When you say "hot" do you mean summer time? When it is warmed up and has been driven for a half hour, does it have a problem when you try to restart it? It may have to do with a vapor lock condition. One thing to check is the air filter - is it clogged? It may need to be replaced. A clogged air filter will block the air from getting to the motor. When this happens, the fuel/air mixture will run a bit too rich. Warm air does not have as much volume as cold air. So, check the air filter and the front grill area for anything that is blocking air flow into the motor. Another problem could be old gas. Has the vehicle been sitting for long periods? You may want to replace the gas.

Bosch oven temp control

If the temp control works for all other settings, it is working for hot air grilling as it using the same stat....when hot air grilling function is used the grill comes on and when it reaches temp the element switches off and the fan switches on. Once this has happened the element and fan will alternate during the cooking period. The fan and element DO NOT operate at the same time.

Drive to work is 35 miles one way on Los Angeles Freeways engine is warm/hot when this happens usually after idling in gridlock after 15 or 20 minutes it will start again and run well

When it starts ti get to warm on the gauge, open the windows and crank the heat up that will alleviate some of the engine heat. That will help a little.
Now since your saying the car doesn't get to hot when moving im going to guess that there is an airflow problem with you radiator.
1. check to see if there is a blockage of the fins (looking in from the grille).
2. Does the fan come on either when hot or the A/C is on.
If not check fan circuit (fan, relay, and other sensors that activate it).
Coolant may be old and need of a flush to get nasties out of engine and rad.
Just some things to look at. Dont hesitate to ask questions to your mechanic too.

Two burners run too hot with yellow flame.

Hello,
It sound like your back burners have a partial blockage or possibly are rusting or falling apart or have cracked seams. Remove the cooking grids and burner shields, and examine the burners closely. If you can't find a blockage inside (spider web, bugs nest, etc) then their condition is probably deteriorating. Let us know if you need more assistance.

Weber Silver Genesis C regulator purging gas after reset process

This could be caused by a couple of problems. First the regulator could be bad, or the tank is getting to hot. Which causes the relief valve to open and release pressure. This will happen when weather outside is hot.

Solair Grill not staying lit

If sounds like you might have a problem with your gas flow valve. If this is the case, it will need to be repaired or replaced. The parts would have to be purchased directly from the manufacturer of these portable grills.

Gas grill overheated

I might have an Idea to what happened. All grills have a drip pan, most all new grills have a drain for grease that falls from our savory meats. Well, if, (not saying that you haven't) but if, you have not cleaned the drip pan, there is still grease left over that gets absorbed by food droppings. IF this is the case, you had a ticking time bomb of a grease fire. The grill did not overheat, the grease caught fire. You said your grill was a year old; so the regulator did not go full blast and when they do go bad they do not let gas pass through.

Not trying to preach to no one because I have done it myself, never leave your gas grill on and unattended. I hate to say it but even the owners manual says it.

I hope I did not come off the wrong way and I hope this might give you an idea/thought of what happened.

Char Broil commercial grill won't heat pass 300 degrees

I had a similar problem and thought the propane kept running out....come to find out it was a defective regulator. $21 at the local ACE store as running to LOWES and trying to get a point across to a 17 yr old summer help college kid for a intermittent problem seemed more challenging then it was worth. Would barely light the burners and would not get over 200 degrees. Ripped it apart...blew through all the orfices including the regulator put it all back together and would work for a while then fail again. Good luck!
