Question about Car Audio & Video
I have a pin out for the AVIC-N1,N2,N3 and I can tell you that if this model has an outboard "Brain" module that would connect to the Yellowish or (Reddish looking in your case) connection on the backside of this unit, you will not get it to power up without that other piece connected to it even if you have that head unit properly connected to the power. That Reddish larger connection looks exactly like the one on the backside of the N's and has to have the brain connected to work.
