Question about Toro Lawn Mower. 22 in. Personal Pace with Blade Stop System Self-
Toro Personal Pace that doesn't have an adjustable choke sounds like it isn't running at full speed anymore. Like the choke is on half power if that makes sense. I have replaced the air filter and cleaned out the carburetor bowl and no change. Starts up with out any trouble. Briggs 190cc engine only a few years old.
Got oil in it, or do you add oil. Left outside alot, fuel line clogged. Is the gas old. Check the blades and the exit portion of the clippings. Does it have a drive train for ease of moving. those can bog down a mower. good luck

Testimonial: "Just changed the oil and had drained out the old gas, put fresh stuff in. Blade seems okay, underside of deck is clear of any grass and debris. Wish I could adjust the choke on this model because that's what it sounds like it needs, but it is not adjustable. I'm not sure if a fuel line is clogged, but I did clean everything around the carb bowl and the also the line that goes to the back side of the air filter. Thanks for your reply. I can't find anything on the web regarding this yet and it is very frustrating for such a new mower "

I believe that Toro Guarantees to start 1 Pull, was gas left in it all winter?, If so this is'nt covered under warranty, cause gas is to be ran out or dumped out at end of season this will prevent any gumming up of carb . did you completely disassemble carb? does it have a primer on it, those gskts need replacing, clean out the jet in bottum of float bowl, small holes, sometimes missed and remove and check your needle/seat to make sure that when float drops gas runs out then lift float up and gas should stop. hope this helped you, another thing spray carb cleaner in carb and pull over and see if it will start that way enough to keep running with choke to see if it will **** gas into it

This is usually caused by either a fuel float that is heavy due to taking on fuel where there is supposed to be an air cavity or.
There is debris in the float needle seat allowing excess fuel to over-fill the float bowl. The float needle has a rubber tip that seats against a tiny fat rubber washer called the seat. If there is debris in between the seat and the needle tip the fuel will NOT shut off causing the symptom you descibed.
If you provide a model number I will look up the inexpensive repair parts that will correct this symptom and provide you with a parts source.
Thanks for choosing FixYa,
