Turn it off by pressing and holding the power button for 5-8 seconds. Restart it.
When it's up. Update the video driver. You can find the driver in the manufacturer's website. However, if you want to cover all possible driver-related issues like what you are currently experiencing then use RadarSync.

I hope this helps!

SOURCE: cannot get out of sleep mode

Unplug it, and remove the battery, put it all back, and start the machine. If it continues to do this, then do a system restore, a system repair, or disable the sleep mode to correct it. This could be a one time glitch, however, one of these three will correct the problem if it persists in the future.

SOURCE: Can't wake up....gone into sleep mode...how do you wake it up

press and hold the power button down for about 5 secs. The computer will shut down. Restart it and right click on the desktop, go to properties then look for screensaver tab , then choose power options, click on hibernation tab at the top and uncheck enable hibernation. Or choose stanby options and choose a longer time before the computer goes to sleep.

You should be able to just press the main system unit power button to wake up your 'sleeping' computer which will then resume your Windows desktop and bring you back to the Login panel if you have a password set for your account.

My iphone won't search without the screen getting dark and un readable then freezes

iPhone into DFU mode so you can do an iTunes firmware restore follow these steps:
Open iTunes and connect the iPhone to your Mac.
Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time.
After exactly 10 seconds release the Sleep/Wake button. Continue holding the home button until you iTunes pops up a message telling you that it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode.
The iPhone screen will remain black
: It may take a few attempts to get your iPhone into DFU mode. Generally, I hold down both buttons then release the Home button just before I think the Apple logo would appear. If you are still holding both buttons down and you see the Apple logo you are holding them down for too long!

Monitor is changing colors and won't wake up

This problem should not be only with your monitor, but also with your video card. You might have left one image sitting for long hours. There is no specific solution, but for Lcd users, you can try this. Leave the monitor off for few hours without any connection, maybe power chord or vga/dvi/hdmi cable. If this doesn't fix then the problem must be from your video card. You can try the monitor on another system to make sure, which one is the culprit. Your last choice is to reset the bios, to do this, remove the bios battery and leave it for few minutes outside (2 mins will do) and put it back. Reboot your system, this will fix your problem. Good luck. Thanks for using FixYa.

How do I wake up the monitor when it goes to sleep when not used for a short time.

slapping it around usually works. "just a joke!"

tapping a few keys on your keyboard and moving the mouse will usually wake the monitor from sleep mode.
