Why Does the NMS Display the Error Message another nms was polling the switch with wrong communityWhen It Uses SNMPv2c to Connect to the Switch?

The reason is that the community name configured on the NMS is different from the community name configured on the switch.
When this error message is displayed, run the display snmp-agent community command to check the community name configured on the switch, and then change the community name on the NMS to be the same as that on the switch.

I hav\e brother printer MfC and am getting the code "unable to print4F"what do i do??????

4F message indicates that the printhead is dead, you will need to replace it to make it work again. Before you replace it, you may want to try this, see if it will clear the error message: Access the internal maintenance mode by pressing the Menu/Set button, then press * 2 8 6 4 within 2 seconds. This should put you in the maintenance mode menu. Enter 80, then scroll down with the arrow down (round) key. You'll find an entry listed as purge count. If number is over 6000, enter 2 7 8 3. This will reset the purge count value. Then the printer will restart, hopefully without the annoying error message.

I am getting error 244 when receiving a fax.

errors 243 and 244. Taken from HP.

The user of the remote machine has pressed that machine's Stop key causing the session to be prematurely terminated. Alternatively: the remote fax machine determined there was a feature incompatibility between the two machines and has terminated the session. An example would be when the local machine wanted to initiate polling, but the remote machine did not support this mode of operation.

Solution:

1. Confirm the remote user is not inadvertently attempting to poll transmit from the local machine, instead of transmitting to the local machine. This mode of operation must be specially configured on the local machine. If poll transmission from the local machine is the desired mode of operation, confirm the local machine has been configured for this operation.

2. Reconfigure the local fax machine to use different configuration settings, toggle the ECM state and/or select a slower reception speed

I need help Please my printer won't print gettig an error

The error message is related to the card that connects the printer to the network. The card is most likely bad. You may be able to clear the message by turning the machine off for 20-30 min, however this does not always work. If the error persists, you should turn off the machine, remove the card (it is in the back where the cables plug in, it has a connector similar to a large phone cord and can be removed by loosening the two thumb screws and sliding it straight back) and hook the printer directly to the PC with a parallel cable. You can also order a new card (Part#J3113A) online, but it will take some time and needs to be configured after installation.

Hope it helps, good luck to your daughter with her paper!.
