Hello I own a compaq PA-2 MP3-Player. I have converted audiofiles from CD-s
into wma-formats (which are supported by the PA-2). Always when I connect the
player to the PC, then the PC is telling me that I have an unformated Memory
in the player and if I want to format it. Which I then confirm to do so.
Although I do not have a chance to chose the kind of format (FAT16 or FAT32.
Still after formating the memory, I still cannot copy the files on to the
player or the memory. (Error codes= 0xC00D117A, Condition= 0x00000000
The same with the Audio Files which I want to copy into MP3 Files instead of
WMA Files. How can I change the Format of the files to be copied into the
Media Player?
Many thanks for your feedback on the above issues.
Best Regards
Pat

Pat, go to zamzar.com, a free online file converter, and pick what file you want the existing files to covert to. It will upload it from your PC and then email you with a link that you can d-load the file back in the new converted type you chose. Hope you read this. -Oscar

the player does not convert WMA to MP3 by itself. I think there is a
powertoy that converts MP3 to WMA.. but i am unaware of a tool that does
WMA to MP3.
thanks

problem with it yet ... i've only filled 180 mb so far.. so i wouldn't
know if it will have any problem after 256 or watsoever mb. Media
player reports 130 mb free though ... weird. :P
I only had problems with formating the MMC at the first few times ...
but after some trick ... it works like great. I donno what i did ...
but it just works after that.
