Question about Epson Printer
I use t13 Epson printer. I installed CISS unit and worked properly. When I refill the unit, I removed the chip on the CISS unit and re fixed back it to the CISS unit. Then, printer indicated all four ink can not recognized error. I removed the unit from the printer and reinstalled back few times. Then, 3 ink cartridge indicate they are full. But, black cartridge indicate "Ink Can not be Recognized Error". I tried several times to fixed this problem. I know that there are ink in the black cartridge. This ink worked properly at the past. I can not understand what happen. Please, help me.

With refilled cartridges, this is usually due to a faulty "reset" of the chip. Simply reset it again and it will usually be OK. If you don't have a chip resetter, buy one very cheaply on E-Bay.

SOURCE: my epson t13 error. ink
To rectify this error with your printer, first of all, you need to snap the cartridge in and out a few times. If this doesn't work, you need to remove the printer cartridge from the printer and then clean off the foil contacts. You need to be careful while doing this and do not wipe the nozzles from where the ink comes out. Insert the cartridge and switch on the printer. Now your problem might be fixed. If this does not work, it is better to inform the manufacturer or contact online technical support experts.

I got my printer to work (finally! #$^%$%) by moving the ink carriage back and forth a bit gently and then I sprayed a small amount of WD40 on a lint free small cloth and wiped the silver bar inside with it. I slid the carriage slowly from one side to the left and it seemed to stick less. I thought my printer was broken so I figured it couldn't do any more harm and lo and behold it worked! My printer went back to the normal screen after turning it back on and I am finishing the print job that I never thought would happen. YAY!
