Compression not working on NEO 2000 with CA ARCserve
I am using CA ARCserver for backups to my NEO 2000 with 2 drives. The device is set for compression "on" but the data stops below 400GB instead of filling to 800GB. I've updated drivers, firmware etc to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

1. Plug in the USB drive that contains the data. 2. On the XMB go to Settings then System Settings 3. Go to Back Up Utility like before but 4. Choose Restore rather than Back Up 5. The PS3 does the rest
You can have the PS3 delete the data file from the USB drive by choosing Delete Backup Data.
This solution applies to the newest version of iGolf Neo Sync. If you don't have the newest version download it from the IGolf site. Open iGolf Neo Sync and all of the courses in your backup file should appear under "My Courses". If all of your courses don't show up, click on "Settings" under "MY DEVICE" . On the page that opens you will see the tentative location of your backup files (for example, C:\Golf\Backup). If the location isn't correct browse for the right location. Once you find it click OK. Now all of your courses should show up under "MY COURSES" on the iGolf Neo Sync page. You can then send any of the courses to your GPS.
I think this sounds like the drive is having a issue loading and moving the tape in slot 1.
AIT units are known for having this kind of problem.
Try a cleaning tape and then a new tape fresh out the wrapper for a test backup.
if it fails with a known good tape then its time to send it out for repair
