MM-6 powered subwoofer. Why can't I open speaker rear panel to replace the internal fuse?

Some speaker manufacturers, in order to make fuse replacement more of a challenge, make it accessible only by removing the speaker (or front panel) and burrowing through the interior to find it.

Replace subwoofer

If the speaker enclosure is wood, and there are NO screws, you need to use a table saw to cut the back off.

I burned the speaker on sabbufere! Tell how a speaker can I replace a burned-out! The model of my sabbufera Sony SA-30!

Hello
Your burned subwoofer speaker is [16cm] one, magnetically shelded type. If it ahs burned out, before replacing an other speaker, throughly check if there ahs some short to its output circuit. If there is a short, the speaker you replace will also will burn out within seconds after switch ON the set. speaker have a 6Ohm impedence and rated at 60 Watts. Frequency response is 20 to 150Hz. Whe buying one these specifications must be noted. You can open its back cover after unscrewing the fixing screws. Do it very carefully and peacefully. OK.

Blown

Dont try it yourself! You will definately end up having to replace the whole speaker. Rather try and find someone in your area who does "recoiling" of speakers

How to replace damaged subwoofer? Opened cabinet and found that the woofers' voice coil has burnt and the cone can't move. How to replace it the damaged speaker?

Since the coil is attached to to cone, you are looking at replacing the whole 15" driver (speaker)
To get access to the screws that hold it in place, you'll need to remove the front bezel from the cabinet, then remove the screws around the speaker's rim.

For what it's worth, that driver isn't a subwoofer, it's just a 15" driver. JBL does make 15" and 18" subwoofer drivers, but they aren't the same speaker as what's in this EON. Hopefully that will help you when you're shopping for a replacement driver.

No sound and I have checked the cable. Is there a reset or a way to check and see if unit is getting power

Subwoofers are hard working speakers, it consumes more power than the satellite speakers, chances are it's easily get busted on high volume. Try to open and check the voice coil for continuity. see if you can repair it or replace

I have altec lansing speakers AVS500 and have no sound

It sounds like the subwoofer speaker has blown. If you are comfortable working with a soldering iron and speakers then you can open the case and replace the speaker with a replacement subwoofer speaker. A good online store for replacement speakers is PartsExpress.com
