I am assuming by "not working" you mean that it does not auto focus. Does your camera work with other lenses? You need to verify that the problem is the lens and not the camera. First try cleaning the electrical contacts on both the camera and lens using a pencil eraser. If that does not solve the problem, it is probably the motor in the lens. Send the lens to Nikon for repair.

Could you provide some details? How is the lens not working? Is it not autofocusing? Is the manual focus not working? Is the VR not working? Is the zoom ring not working? Is the aperture not stopping down? Is the lens not transmitting any light? Is the lens not communicating with the camera?

Fuji Finepix S1 Pro fE E blinking when turned on?

Might Help:
Notes on G-type Nikkor and other CPU Nikkor lens
The G-type Nikkor lens has no aperture ring; aperture should be selected from camera body. Unlike other CPU Nikkor lenses, aperture does not need to be set to minimum (largest f-number). CPU Nikkor lenses other than G-type Nikkor lens have an aperture ring. Set the lens aperture to its minimum and lock. When the lens is not set to its minimum aperture setting and the power switch is turned on, "fEE" blinks in the control panel and viewfinder and the shutter cannot be released.
