Washing machine water isnt being pumped away quickly enough

We have a Sanispeed unit in our utility room connected to the washing machine. It worked fine for a couple of months (it was second hand) and now when the washing machine empties some of the water backs up the tube we put the hose into. We also have a combi comdensate attached. Any ideas

SOURCE: Washing machine not filling with water not washing but will empty and will spin

like the anchor idea?, no sorry, this does sound like the water is not getting to the machine, so, when you turn the machine on does it make a slight buzzing noise, if so the fault is no water in the pipes to the machine (from the house), if no buzzing check the solenoids with a multimeter for open circuit (removing the 2 wires first) oh and the plug obviously / replace solenoid if needed, i am sure this will cure your problem, if so rate me please, thank you

Check the drainpump. It may be clogged with lint or something, or blocked.

SOURCE: Keurig B100 not pumping a cup of water through

After dismantling the B100 and trouble shooting the machine I determined that the hose leading to the air pump on the right side of the B100 allowed water to back flow into the motor. The small amount of moisture eventually caused the motor to fail.

I had to find a scrap machine, which most people that have bought this piece of equipment have just thrown it in the trash, and remove the motor from the opposite side which still functioned. Since it is designed to mount to a specific side I had to appoxy the motor into place. To keep the problem from occuring again I purchased a check valve from a local pet store and put it in-line with the motor.

This solved the problem at the source and has prevented moisture from getting into the motor. Now I am a proud owner of a Frankin Pot. It's alive!

What causes the water not to spin out of the clothes?

Hi, it means that the machine is not spinning fast enough and pumping the water away. If its not spinning enough then you have to get the machine looked at as its not clicking on in the cycle for it to spin fast enough. You also have to have it set to wash cycle that has a fast spin. If it is spinning fast then you have to look at the pump to make sure its pumping the water away.

The electric motor runs but no water is pumped? Check: that inlet hose connection is airtight, free from blockages.

My washing machine wont wash or spin proprly

the water is not pumping out because you have a blockage in the filter unit which is located at the bottom of your machine or possibly a weak pump. the reason that your machine smells is because the water is not discharging. check the filter first for any blockages, i.e coins, bra wires etc. if that doesn't sort it you may need a new pump

During the wash cycle, the water and suds overflow and flood the launry room

try turning off the water at the supply after the machine fills up and see if this still happens. Chances are your fill valve isnt shutting off when its supposed to.

You should also check for power to the switch after the unit starts the wash cycle and see if it is still energized. Which would be a sign of a damaged timer unit.

You problem is not the salt unit, your problem is PUMP related. You are getting good enough water flow. Check the pump as well as the filter. remove the filter cartridge and try the system without it. If the problem goes away then wash your filter and retest. If the problem comes back replace the filter cartridge. If the problem remains without the cartridge in place, you have a blockage in the plumbing which is preventing proper water flow.

Washing machine leeking when spinning clothes out

hiya
sounds like a blosked pump filter, if the water cant get away quick enough then it will go into fast spin and more than likely throw the water out of the soap drawer.

i would need a make and model though to help you locate the filter as different makes and models vary

hope this helps

check out the drain pump if drain pump is blocked up water will not get away quick enough and stop machine from spinning
if that is clear
turn bowl by hand and if you get a runble noise then the main bearings are gone
that will need dismantle and replacement or new machine
