Re: Program

See page 11 of the manual (link below), just press "program" to cancel. Even though you can clear the mode the program will remain. The only way I know of clearing it completely is to remove power from the unit for an extended time.

My cd-carnegie has no money changer, it is on free play. It won't allow me to play selections any more.

Possibly the battery is dead in the control unit. When the memory is lost, free play is too. You will need to locate and replace the battery, then re-program. For that you will most likely need the manual. You will have no problem finding a manual on line.

Only plays one song at a time; not through entire cd

This is not a problem, the machine is supposed to play only one song at a time.....If you want to play the entire CD at a time, you must first program the machine for "Album Play" and then select the disc number followed by "00". Refer to your manual for instructions on programming album play. PS I sell manuals,

OMT Jukebox plays tracks continuously but will play selected track when ordered. Have turned off continous play button but it continues to play. Have programmed it not to play but it continues to play.

Perhaps someone has programmed the machine for "Play stimulator" (random play) or background music. The easiest way clear all f is to default the machine to factory settings. First, unplug the memory plug (red wire at bottom right side of selection and computer and turn off power to the machine for 10 minutes with the memory plug unplugged. After turning on power, the carousel will rotate to determine its capacity. After that the machine is ready for operation. Re-connect the memory plug. If you need further help you can contact me,

My wurlitzer play only 22 cd 's

It has probably been programmed to only play 22 cd's. The unit can be set to play random cd's, but if the original owner only had 22 cd's then he probably programmed it to only see the 22 cd's. If he didn't program it to only see 22 cd's, then it would randomly select cd 23, and since there was nothing there, it wouldn't play anything. If you have a manual, it tells you on page 23, service level 1, button 5 how to program for more or less cd's. If you don't have a manual, you can download one from a couple of sites, I just googled it, and found a complete manual from a Wurlitzer site in the US, don't remember which one. Here is another site with lots of good info

1015 Display Flashing #8!

Sounds like you may have a "timing" problem with the changer mechinism. Could be a worn gear or some broken teeth on some gear or some slack in the mesh between gears and it jumped a few teeth. That would explain the doubling up and out of sequence problem with the rack and it might be the problem with it not playing too.

Number 8 flashes on display screen and disk changer is stuck

The #8 indicates either the settings for the amplifier is too high so tryi turning down both channels and/or the fuse Si3 on the amplifier panel inside the wurlitzer is blown
