Did the reset and nothing
how do you reset the subwoofer on the av-d57...I know you can reset the woofer using another tecnique but i can't rememeber. I think it was something to turn off stereo and unplug woofer but i can remember it. What am i doing wrong? I did the whole hold the enter reset and nothing still. But i hear a thud when it resets but nothing is coming out.

You need the remote control to turn the subwoofer on and off. There are no controls on the subwoofer. This is the most ridiculous design ever.
Anyway, on the RC-AAR02 remote, press the "Manual Select" in the upper right corner. You'll see "SUBWOOFER OFF" on the display. Then, use the tuner up/down ON THE RECEIVER (not the remote) to turn the sub on. Confounded? Yes.
