Question about OWI Robotic Arm Edge Kit
I replaced the battery supply with AC to DC regulated adaptor. I passed 6V and all the motors are moving only in one direction. For connecting the battery I have connected +ve to +ve and -ve to both -ve and to the ground wire, I hope that's ok?

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I noticed the same problem on my pin 8 - however it wasn't the issue. I had the exact same problem and emailed OWI for tech support. The problem was with the battery connector plate. The "nipple" was facing out (away from the battery) rather than in so there was no power getting to the one side. You need to take off the arm and the top two round plates, then you can slide the connector plate out, turn it around and slide it back in. Works now! (This is step 16 in the instruction booklet.)
