[HP LJ M1522n] Formater board (CC368-60001)

My formater board (CC368-60001) broke down. I could not find such a use, so I bought from M1522nf (CC386-60001) with fax module. But I read on a forum that will not work. Is this true? : ( If so, what does it take to work?

SOURCE: Error codes 283 and 232 in received Faxes

basically error 232 indicates that a communication failure has occurred between the two machines
Following these steps may help resolving your issue

1. Make sure that the phone cord is plugged directly from the wall jack into the back port of the fax machine that is marked "Line" or "To Wall Jack", or that has a wall-jack symbol.
2. Verify that the line interface unit (LIU) (the box that the phone cord plugs into) is seated fully into the back of the fax.
3. Remove any other device from the line such as splitters, credit card machines, or telephone answering machines, and retry the fax communication.
4. Try sending and receiving faxes on a different fax line.
5.Try using a different telephone cord.
6. Have the phone company test your line for static or noise problems.
7. Disable Error Correction Mode (ECM) if the same error occurs repeatedly.

Hope this helps.
thx

SOURCE: Not receiving any Fax, only can send out Fax.

Hi Mechanic.

The problem could be with your phone service if you are on digital lines, you would have to install a digital to analog filter. If you are analog the comm errors are typical of a line with a lot of static. You can change two settings on the printer which should solve the issue until you install a filter.

The two settings which are under the fax set up menu/ all faxes\
Error correction mode (ECM) set it to off
Fax Speed set it to medium.

Good luck

Error 49 is showing in the Printer Screen, it is automatically getting switched on and off in close intervals and not functioning. Printer Model is HP LaserJet M1522nf.

49 Error, Turn off then on

The product has experienced an internal embedded software error.

Turn off the power by using the power switch,
wait at least 30 seconds, and then turn on the
power and wait for the product to initialize.
If the error persists, contact HP. See
www.hp.com/support/ljm1522 or the support
flyer that came in the product box.

Tengo una impresora de Modelo Hp LaserJet M1522n MFP presenta el siguiente mensaje de error. Error de memoria consum: 10.1000 pareciera ser por que el cartucho no es original, pero lo he comprado con...

It is possible. The message is caused because the printer cannot read the little chip that is on the cartridge. Usually replace the toner will fix the issue (specially if its not hp). In your case it might be the reader that is not working. Try taking the cartridge and paper out. Then reset the printer by turning it off and press and hold the down arrow and cancel. Then turn it on and wait for the message ''permanent storage init'' then release the keys and will get back to ready.
