Re: Camera error

The problem is the internal focus lens is either stuck, or knocked out of alignment. The lens will need to be serviced, or replaced with a new (not cost effective), or good used lens assembly.

I receive the E:61:00 error on screen, and the screen will not focus. I shook the camera around (per forums) and the screen focused for a minute, but would not zoom in out out. When I tried to zoom either...

The E:61:00 error code displayed on the Camera screen indicates that a Camera malfunction that you cannot reverse has occurred. This seems to be an internal malfunction of the Camera. You may try power resetting the Camera. To power reset the Camera, turn off the Camera and remove the battery pack. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Remain the Camera without power for 60 seconds and reinsert the battery.
If the issue persists, service may be required as this is an internal malfunction

Focus error? The camera won't focus. Focus Error is displayed in the viewing screen. Zoom action & everything else seems to work fine. Won't focus, won't take pictures.

This is a known issue with Fuji S3000 cameras caused by dust and dirt that get in through the loosely mounted lens mechanism, there are only three solutions.

  1. If under warranty you can send the camera in for repair.
  2. Saturate around the lens with WD40 and wiggle the lens until it becomes responsive again every month or so.
  3. Dismantle the camera and clean out around the internal gear-box and lens components about once a year.

Wont allow me to take pictures

The camera's firmware will need to be updated. You can sometimes get lucky enough to find a free download on the web. Others have to send in their camera's to the manufacture and they will repair it for $50

I am having a nikon D80 camera. In the display it shows Error. I i click the camera no focus,no picture in the memory card.

This may be due to the aperture ring in your lens. Try the following:

1. Turn off your camera
2. Move the aperture ring clockwise then lock
3. Turn on your camera and try again.

If this does not work, do the same thing again but turn the aperture ring counter-clockwise.

Pictures are blur

Your pictures are blurry because the camera did not focus properly on the subject.

First, turn on the camera in any picture taking mode (or video mode), then look at the screen or viewfinder. There should be four white corners in the center of the camera display. This is your targeting area.
1. Aim the camera at your subject so this center area is directly on it.

2. Press the shutter button lightly, not all the way down. Wait for a second or two WITHOUT RELEASING YOUR FINGER. If the white corners turn green, keep the finger on the button and press it all the way.

(Once the screen flashes black, a picture is taken and you can release the finger).
If the targeting area turns red and blinks, then the camera has not focused. You can to try to focus again by following step 1 and 2. If a picture is taken when the targeting area is red, then the picture will be blurry.

If there is no targeting area, then you can still focus by aiming the camera at your subject. Now follow step 2. A green box will appear on the subject, then a sharp picture can be taken.
The red arrow that flashes means that the pictures or videos are being written onto the memory card.

Also, try to be steady when taking pictures, because slight hand movement can cause blurry images too.

Page 25 in the DMC-FZ7's english manual will also explain how to focus.

Focus error is displayed in my Camera...

Defective mechanism, a stucked mechanism is present. camcorder are smart it can detects error and shuts down itself for safety. earlier models dominoes the defect if the user is not quick enough to react when something goes wrong with the camera. You need professional service to fix it. Never put in a freshly charged battery in any unit, let the battery cool down for five minutes or more, a freshly charged battery has higher voltage or power than normal battery and you may have a chance to damage your unit. Some people will say its not true cause they are doing it for a long time, they are just lucky I may say. Never take bad chance if theres any.
