I cannot hear the game sound through turtle beach ear force x32. Tried paring again and the led light in front is only pulsing very slowly

it means your headset is dying replace the batteries

Are you really going to re-wire the headphones? that sounds like such an ordeal. not worth the trouble i found this site that sells the Turtle Beach X11 for like 30 bucks or less. save your self the trouble.
