a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Some cell phones have to ways of doing a factory data reset meaning putting your device back to the way it was when you first got it. Meaning you will lose everything unless you have it backup somewhere such as a email acc that syncings your information for you or some provider have something that allows you to back up your contacts and media. or a sd card
Since you can not turn it on and do the factory reset the tradition way try this
Press and hold down the power button and the volume up and down key and wait to see the boot mode screen and then use either your volume up or down button to choose factory data reset use your power button to choose ok
again use your volume buttons to choose yes confirm
Your device will do the reset and then come back up at the activation screen.
If your device does not respond to these steps unfortunately this means you will need a replacement. hopefully you are still in your 1yr warranty that you get with any new device or you chosen the ins. and can do a ins. claim
