i've actually heard of a way to connect your psp to your computer when its bricked(because the power still goes on)and open your psp folder and reinstall the old firmware in it.im doing it right now and it IS working.

Your firmware flash was incomplete leaving no firmware in place, unfortunately you have bricked your psp. However there is a solution, there is a chip called the Undiluted Platnum for the psp now that will allow you to reflash the firmware. As a bonus you will be able to load any firmware, update and run backup UMD's and any emulator!

http://everything4psp.com/PSP_ACCESSORIE... has it. 1st item listed. It's a bit pricey but they do provide the installation for you. Good Luck.

the solution of shadow will work.just continue the update with your computer..i have that same problem too..i payed 800 pesos for that just to be sure not to screw it again..tip..when ur updating ur psp dont ever cancel it..update with fuuul charged battery.and make sure that u read the terms and services of the update...TNX
