Question about SanDisk Connect Low power Wireless Card 802.11b (SDWCFB-000-768)
I have an compaq ipaq pocket pc model 3955 with 2002 windows CE 3.0 os. I've had the wireless card 4 a couple yrs and it worked 4 a while until one day my wireless just wouldn't show up when i scanned 4 available wireless networks. since then my battery has run all the way down and hence reseting my pocket pc so i installed the driver again for the wireless card and still it can't find the wireless network. i have tried restarting my router and my pocket pc and reinstalling the driver.
In my experience this type of thing bodes of a hardware failure...I think ya WiFi module has gone faulty, sorry to say.. In fact the only way to "Troubleshoot" something like this is to replace the unit and see whats what anyway.. perhaps ya can get one on Ebay or the like?

Tips for a great answer:
Here is how to fix that corrupted DNS cache in vista.
1. Click the Microsoft Vista Start logo in the bottom left corner of the screen
2. Click All Programs
3. Click Accessories
4. RIGHT-click on Command Prompt
5. Select Run As Administrator
6. In the command window type the following and then hit enter: ipconfig /flushdns
7. You will see the following confirmation:
Windows IP Configuration
Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.
After that in the same command window type
That should clear up the issue. Odds are you were sharing an IP address with someone else on the network.
