Induction cooker

Remember that induction cookers are fussy that you have a special stainless steel pot or pan made just for induction cooking. It must be an 18/10 alloy (18% chromium and 10% nickel) If you have the correct pots then it will need a repair.

My Sony Trintron's LED Light blinks 9 times when I try to turn on the set

  1. If it is intermittent 9 blinks, meaning sometimes the TV comes on and other times you get flashing, then change the switching regulator on the "G" board or check connections. Make sure the regulator is -12 or -13 (negative). If you wish to get more details about the blinking codes to Sony brand TVs, check this link. Pull up older posts there.

the 9 blinks is indicating a panel SOS which means the Panel itself is whats causing the 9 blink error code.

Vollrath induction cooker is not working. The display reads F9. Model # is 59500.

The range does not recognize the pan material. Only ferrous (magnetic) cookware will work with induction. This is a protection circuit to only heat proper cookware. When all else fails read the instruction book or call the service department for the manufacturer...save time, reduces frustration and assures safe operation. Good Luck
