Question about Washing Machines
More than likely you have a leaky wet end seal that has rusted the drive shaft of the motor. There are replacement seal kits available but more than likely the bearings are bad and your pump needs to be replaced. If I'm correct the noise will get louder and louder until the pump seizes.
