Hello, where I can buy a Main board for a samsung led tv UN40D5500? Thanks.

Tv's parts vary in price and many of the main boards on them are not just snap in parts. They require many wires to be diconnected and some even require soldering. I apologize for no price answer but want you to know what you might want to look into. If you do it yourself it could be anywhere from $75.00 - 150.00. For the part. If you choose to take it somewhere, make it the trash or try to sell cheap, as is. Someone may be willing to take the burden. Remember the old tv's? Family would hand em down for 20 years. They last about 3 yrs now...if you're lucky.

Hello, my samsung tv is turned on and off continuously. Any idea what it could be? the model is UN40D5500. Thanks

Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

Red light blinks

How many times this standby/power light blinks at one time switch ON? Count it carefully. These blinks are fault indication, and known as blinking codes. From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON; you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside the TV. This will make repair easy.If you wish to get more details, check this link. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Selecting the view option, either to Mosaic /Timeslide, can be selected by the drop-down list, at the top left of the display window, will make surf easy. You can also do a search, by type in the brand name / model number / IC used, in the search box at the top right of the display window.

How can I off the 3d effect in my Samsung led UN40D5500

When I looked at the specifications for the UN40D5500, that TV doesn't have a 3D video option. It does allow for 3D audio on the digital audio signal. The UN40D5550 has 3D video. To toggle through the 3D settings, press Menu on the remote (in the center of the row above the arrow toggles) and use the down arrow to go to the Picture sub-menu. Press Enter then with the arrows go to 3D and press Enter. Under 3D Mode, you can toggle with the left and right arrows through Off, 3D, 2D upconverted to 3D, side by side images or two images stacked one over the other. Press Enter to save the setting. Press Menu several times to exit the menu system.

If you do have the UN40D5500 and are trying to disable the 3D audio, press Menu and go to the Audio sub-menu. Then look under the digital audio options (SPDIF).

For other manuals for Samsung devices, go to http://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads .

I hope this helps.
