To enter the secret menu mode: flip open phone and quickly enter: #073887* then enter your Security Code (default is 000000). It has menu items Web Sessions, Browser Reset, User Activation, AKEY, Extended NAM, Vcode, Data Rates, SPC Overwrite, System ID, SID/NID Pair, Test Mode, and Get It Now Config. Note: to get out of test mode (white background and blue text), press CLR then left soft key quickly. User Activation

Thank you for your email. If you switched the NAM to NAM2 you will need to calculate the code. Listed below are the steps on how to do so:
1.Obtain the Hexadecimal ESN of the phone. The ESN should be printed on the sticker on the back of the phone, under the battery. The Hexadecimal ESN is the one with letters and numbers.
2.Open Windows calculator by going to Start -> Run -> type in "calc", then click OK
In the Calculator, click "View" then "Scientific".
3.Click on Hex and type in the Hex ESN
4.Click on Dec for the decimal conversion and use the last four digits for the code on the handset
5.Once the code is entered and the menu can be accessed, switch the NAM to NAM1

1st. turn on phone
2nd quickly enter #073887* it will get you the programming menu, security code should be 000000 to continue.
3rd scroll down to extended NAM, click ok.
4th highlight NAM 1, press ok.
5th scroll down and it will display "SECURITY CODE" oooooo and unlock code "what ever unlock code is" and now you have it. goodluck Paul
