Access 2007 freeze my computer all the time

Hi guys, recently I installed Office 2007 on my computer and for some reason Access doesn't work as smoothly as it was on the 2003 version. It freezes all the time and my computer get frozen too, even on simple SQL queries. I have a Pentium 4 with 512mb, is it a problem with configuration or my computer is not strong enough? Any help will be highly appreciated Rebeca

It freezes when I start it and when I run queries, but in general it is a lot slower. Is this normal?

I think it's whether your system or your router if you have one! Does it happen at a specific moment? Or it just freezes from time to time???

Ok, then it's definitely your system! Try to install Office 2003 or something like that! OR upgrade your RAM(ask professional advice for this one where you buy it).

It's still a bit weird because I have the same system(512 mb and pentium 4), Do you have a lot of BIG programs? If you're constantly working with big softwares, then I really recommend you to upgrade your system.

Hi there,

This often happens if you have more than one installation of Office on your computer, and they are slightly different versions. You will need to uninstall the previous version of Office if you can and then try the activation again. Do you by any chance have a non-professional version loaded on your computer right now?

If that isn't the case a lot of times if it doesn't work, you will need to call microsoft and activate it over the phone.

This link should give you some more information of what you are looking for to call the center to get the activation approved:

I can't install ms office 2007,error cannot find dwtrig.20.exe

This problem is usually caused by an error in the ports of Skype and MS office 2007. If you are using skype, you uninstall it completely in your computer. Install MS OFFICE 2007. You can then install SKYPE back to your computer.

Let me know if it still doesn't work by replying to this solution.

HI, iam using Ms office 2010 and 2007 at once but when i start office 2010 then launch another it starts configuring with takes time please help

hi

for whatever reason you require both office suites (may be due to compatibility for DOCUMENTS access, perhaps) , you cannopt have both versions installed on same computer and operate the PC effecctively without issue, unless you have dual boot system . Dual boot (Winodws XP and Vista on same PC, for example) may be your only option to allow these two suites to run simultaneously while running one OS at one time. does this help ? if so , please sne me 4 thumbs up.

Hi, how do I get a product key for microsoft office 2007 which is installed on my new laptop...it keeps asking for it when I open word and only have access for another 19/20 times? best Regards

Hi. You have the trial version of MS Office 2007 which will lock after several usage or days depending on what version you have. You need to purchase a license to get the product key. License is available at local computer store or online. www.amazon.com sells genuine Office 2007 license.

I tried to install office 2007 and it failed and would nont install again so i installed 2003 back and ever since then i cant use ie8 and outlook freezes what should i do?

Hi. There may be conflicts on the registry that were left after you installed Office 2007. Try to uninstall both software completely using Add/Remove in Windows, restart the computer before reinstalling Office 2003.
