That's weird that it will hum, but your sewer pump won't actually pump. Have you tried having a professional look at it? Sometimes the problem is really hard for a layperson like ourselves to find, but someone who fixes sewer pumps for a living would be able to find easily. I hope you get this fixed soon.

Kenmore elite front loading washer wont drain keeps having code OE

This question shows me that you have a clog before, in, or after the pump. you would have to check the hose that comes from tub, the pump filter area, the pump impeller area, and the hose that goes from pump out to the sewer. First check your filter for any Clogs. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

Our sewer pump loses prime, when we manually re-prime it will pump but constantly loses prime.

pumps that continually loose prime 4 sure have an air leakage problem two places that most pumps can leak air into them are (1) input shaft seal
(2) check valve

the check valve is by far the easier of the two to replace id start with that one first some waste water pumps have two check valves on them one on suction line and one on discharge line (if over 10 feet high)

Ejector pumps started to go off frequently

The ejector pumps probably pump to the same sewer pipe you had rooted. Rooting can do damage. Trees can break into your sewer pipe, jam them up with roots, and let ground water in. The ground water may be following your sewer pipes on the outside back to your house. It costs a lot, but you can have your pipes examined with a tv camera, the rooter people can do that. Make sure your ejectors have check valves, and they are working right. It's easy for something to get stuck in the check, and then water will come back.

How to Install plumbing in the basement?

A sewer ejector pump is the answer. The waster line is run into the sump basin, pumped through a checkvalve into  the sewer line that grades with gravity.  A vent pipe needs to be run also, (you can't pump out without replacing the air, it's like trying to suck air out of a bottle) If you add a high water alarm, which is a good idea. It is run off of a separate electrical breaker (insurance) to let you know if the pump isn't working before it's flood time.  The check valve makes sure, that what you pump out, stays out. Otherwise the pump will keep cycling.

Washing machine wont fill

the humming noise is usually the inlet valve energised but no water there to come in. i appreciate you have checked. the other possibility is that the appliance has not pumped out completely and the noise you hear is the drain pump energised but stuck due to perhaps a foreign object in it. fault is unlikely to be inlet valve
