Is the laptop the only computer you have? Do you have another computer connected to your router?
You can't generally connect a printer to a router without another device, such as a PC or a wireless print server.

I am running this Lexmark 6150 printer connected to the computer via usb cable. I have a wireless laptop, how can I print on the Lexmark 6150 from the laptop the laptop is connected to the same modem...

You can enable printer sharing on the computer where the printer is connected, then share the printer so it can be accessed by others on the network. The steps vary depending on which version of Windows the computer is running, so use the help screen. The steps will be listed for you to follow.

On your wireless computer, add the Lexmark printer as a network printer. You will probably need to install the printer drivers, so have the CD handy or download them from Lexmark's website.

Make sure both computers are members of the same workgroup, or the wireless computer won't be able to find the printer on your network. Also, the computer the Lexmark printer is connected to must be on and running for printing over the network.

An easier way to share your printer is by using a USB print server. One example is here. The server connects to your printer by the USB cable, and by an Ethernet cable to one of the wired ports on your router. Then any computer on the network can use the printer at any time.

I just bought a linksys wrt120n wireless router. Is there a way to use the wireless router to print on my new laptop?

This model printer does not have a network connection therefore to print via wireless from the laptop, the printer needs to be connected to a computer and setup as a shared printer. This computer must be connected to the wireless router with a LAN cable.
Please click on this link and follow my instruction to configure a shared network printer :-

Is there a way to set up my Lexmark x5650es so i do not have to use a usb cable?

This printer comes with a Inbuilt wireless port and alsoa ethernet port. You can either configure it to be used with your Wireless router and make this a shared device or you can connected it to your router using a ethernet cable and then you can access it over your network. Assuming you have a wireless router and the expertise to configure a wireless printer. If not consult the user manual.

I am using my install disc and got as far as USB connection, which I did and now my continue window is grayed out. Trying to add my Lexmark 5600-6600 to my wireless network.

You're trying to do what?
Are you using a router that is also a print server?
Are you using a USB print server?
Printers don't hook up to routers unless it's a network connection with an ethernet cable.
Print servers hook up to printers with a USB cable, but are attached to the network with an ethernet cable in most cases.

I have a wire less network set up and want to use my lexmark x1270 so i can print wireless but cable is USB and do i need to get a cable to put into my router or??

You can't set it up wirelessly, persay. but you can use a special bluetooth adapter in the "pic bridge" slot on the front. I have seen them on e-bay from £5($8) to £12($17) or so.

LexmarLk X4850 fax wireless set-up

Printing: since Lexmark say you can either connect wirelessly or wired and not both, you must either connect your daughter's machine to the hub by wire or yourself to the printer wirelessly.

Fax: this will need a phone line.

Well we bought a laptop and we have a lexmark printer and we dont know what cord to buy for a printer to the lapto.!!!!!!!!!!

printer hooks up by a USB cable and you can also set it up for wireless printing in which you would need a network cable to hook it up to a wireless router.

It all depends on which way you want to go with it.
