PLEASE HELP!!!! We have just moved to Indonesia and while my husband is away on a business trip, he has given me and the kids his Samsung (spare) phone so we can call each other. It is asking me for a PUK code after I entered the wrong pin several times. PLEASE help!! I have no land line for himn to call us on (takes a while to connect here in Indo) and I can't retrieve his phone number from this damn phone until I can unlock it!!!! I'm really panicking and feel cut off from him!
Surely some techno minded guru out there can help me?

I have the same problem with my SAMSUNG SGH-X830 GSM Unlocked phone. I keep getting this PUK display. I can't even get the phone to do anthing except turn on. All the paperwork and phone it self is in Italian or something. does anyone know what I need to do to get my phone going.

Method 1:
1 - Switch ON your Samsung X820 with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM
Card.
2 - Samsung X820 will ask for "Password".
3 - Enter the Unlock Code.

1 - Switch ON your Samsung X820 with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM

2 - Don't bother about what's being displayed on your Samsung X820.

Transfer the files in your cell phone jad and
jar. Then type the code *#9998*52824678255# . It will show the code as *#9998*------------Then go to the jad file and
open it. It will install the application. To remember more easily the code is *#9998*javainstall#.
i will give you master eeprom reset code just dail it when when you r in main screen no need to dial call button also just dial thecode as it is .. this will reset the phone all passwords and codes to the default code and password.... but you will losing every thing stored in phone even contacts, msgs ...

I don't think your sim card is fried, you can try it in ant other phone.
Regarding the PUK number, that you can get from your service provider, by phoning the customer care centre.
Regarding your husbands phone number, this depends if it was saved on the phone or the sim. if it was saved on the phone, you can retrieve it by putting someone elses sim in your phone and switching it on, then go to contacts and get it there. If it was on the sim, you will need to get the PUK number first to unblock the sim. If you still have the sim pack, you can get the PUK number from there.
