Question about SanDisk Sansa e270 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Sandisk e20 I got a Sandisk e270 and when I look under music folder it has files that I have to delete every time and that dont show up on the mp3 player itself. And theres 1 file called Unknown Artist with nothing in it whenever I try to delete it every thing freezes. Is there any way I could just delete the whole mp3 player and start fresh or a way to get those files gone and make em stop coming up every time i reconnect

Sansa e280 - missing songs from mp3 playlists but playable through the computer

Hi make sure that the songs that are on the player are in MP3 or WMA file format. If they are in MP3 or WMA format, reformat the player and reload the songs back to the mp3 player. I and some of my friends experience the same problem but thanks from the sandisk technical support people i found out that it was just the songs that i am transferring are in MP4. Hope this helps out.

Deleting music

When using Windows Media Player 11 to delete, you have to look carefully at the folders on the left hand side of the window in the "Library" Tab - the first set of folders are the songs stored on your computer only. If your mp3 player is plugged into the computer and the computer recognizes that it is plugged in, you will see an icon of your Mp3 player in the list of items in the library tab. You must double-click that icon of your mp3 player and bring up your music files that way. Delete the files from there, and it will usually (not always) ask you "this will permanently delete files from your device" blah blah blah. You're there.

How to remove songs....i dont get it still

here's how you will delete songs off your Sansa e250

step 1: Go to"MY COMPUTER
Step 2: Find and open the sansa drive
Step 3: Look for the music folder.

If you dont see a music folder you will need to go to the top where it says tools>then >folder options>then click on show hidden files>

Step 4: You should now see the music file. Go into it and simply delete any songs you don't want.

Deleting music off of my sansa E250r!!HLP ME

If you originally used rhapsody (or began in Rhapsody mode) , you have to use rhapsody to remove the songs. If that doesn't work, you can manually open the music folder by enabling "hidden folders" under "tools" -> "folder options..." -> click the "view" tab -> scroll and check "show hidden files and folders". Then go to My Computer -> Sansa e250 -> "system" -> "music" -> then delete the songs. I don't know the effects of using this method, so use it at your own risk.

Btw, Real Player should do fine as well.

Delete songs that came on refurbished sansa

your player should be listed in my computer on your pc when connected as a removable device, so right click and explore it and explore all the folders for the mp3 files, select and delete them as necassary.
