Question about Philips 28PW6506 28" TV

My TV keeps switching its self off, it makes a clicking noise as if its trying to switch on. Then cuts out.

Do to the clicking noise your tv makes is a very common idicator that your power supply in the tv is failing. Its an easy fix lots of DIY videos on youtube but may cost you a arm.

make sure all terminals are clean & tight on all + & - from battry to starter check that terminals are snug on ends of cables if still clicks put screw driver across selenoid with switch on from hot cable to hot cable both should be red you mite get a little spark thats ok should start if so cut off & try w/key sometimes switch or regulator will cause same problem sometimes they will keep starting with key

My tv keeps saying stand bye and it won't cut on all its doing is making the click noise and the red light keep blinking


Try unplugging it for 30 seconds and see if it resets. If not, take the model # and get on the internet for the manual and go to trouble shooting page. It should answer your questions

Tv makes clicking noise and switches self off. Not sure of model num but serial is 44443HBY903252R and also got this: OZ32Z30


tv needs a repair man..take it to a tech..the problem is in the power supply..the power ism where the current is located.dont attempt repair.good luck.

Sounds like your soft switch, in the set, has failed you will need to have this replaced.

unplug tv for 2 minutes and plug it back in. problem should go away. if not, call toshiba.

Tv wil not turn on just keeps making a clicking noise


ur relay keep try hard to turn tv on that u hear clicking noise.
+5VDC is leaking! open back cover,check power supply board.
1000uF or 2200uF capacitor is popped open or leaky.replace with known top quality capacitor.do it ur self repair will save u $200.

Tv shuts off tv/video doesnt work


that is a indication that a fault is about to occur, dont force that tv take it to a technician before it switches off completely, a power supply is supposed to be checked.
