The speed bottle opener is a blade of steel that is flat. It is about 4 x 16 cm long. It has a thumb hole at one side and letterbox cut at the other. This is to take away the crown seals from a bottle. This is a first class lever.

How to fix high aidla speed on Daewoo nubira 1998?

High idle speed on any fuel injected car engine ussually means an intake air leak or faulty idle speed motor, but maybe faulty coolant temp switch, check if coolant level in radiator is to top of neck ONLY OPEN RADITOR WHEN ENGINE IS COLD, this is for personal safety. Get a trigger spray bottle of water and spray around all parts of the inlet manifold if leak evident rgine should run slightly rough. other poss prob could be brake booster faulty or booster one way faulty or hose split. Good luck.

My friend opened her bottled of homebrewed beer and it shot out the bottle like champagne, soaking us all. Why did that happen?

There is always a bit up of pressure as this allows the carbonation to take place. If you put bottles of beer in the fridge after bottling, it helps to relieve some of the pressure. But the real answer lies in the speed that you open the bottles. Do it really really slowly to allow the pressure to slowly release itself.

Do it too fast and you will shoot beer all over the place.

How can I open a bottle of beer without an opener?

You can easily open a bottle of bear by putting the edge of the cap on the edge of a table and bringing your fist down on it. You can also leverage a spoon or lighter over your pointer finger while holding the bottle between your thumb and pointer.

How do you find and fill the radiator in 2003 GMC Yukon XL

Some of these vehicles have a false petcock. Pop off the lower hose over a catch pan, pour a gallon of water in the plastic Dexcool Coolant bottle and put the hose back on when it stops pouring out. Fill to the max line and run the car until both radiator hoses are hot (thermostat has opened). Replenish fluid to max line and cap the bottle. If you have electric fans make sure they come on and make sure your temp. gauge stays in the middle. It'll take longer on cooler days. You might have to get in the car and gas it to about 2000 rpms. Don't cap the bottle until the thermostat opens. If it vomits, change the thermostat and again make sure the electric fans kick on or the clutch fan speeds up at about 210 degrees.

Overheats at idle only, fine at speed or higher rev

Generally the bottle will give you some idea on level but if you have a cap on the radiator, that's the best place to check or fill. (only open cold) Also make sure that if you have an electric fan, that it's coming on when hot. Your computer also aids in cooling by advancing/retarding timing. It may not be.

Idele / mixture screw adjustments

You'll need a handheld tachometer or tach/dwell meter if your car does not have a tachometer.

Start by adjusting the idle screw to the correct speed (do this with the car running) allow a few seconds between adjustments for changes to take effect. I don't know the specific speed for your car, but 800-900rpms is a good catch-all setting.

Next adjust the mixture screw open. Your idle speed will gradually increase as you open the mixture screw. Again, allow a few seconds between adjustments to check the results. I like to count the turns of the screw as I make them. I will usually make adjustments 1/4 turn at a time and count, so that if I adjust too far I can go back to a setting that I know worked.

Continue to adjust your mixture until it no longer causes the idle speed to increase, then take it back about 1/8th of a turn.

Now readjust your idle screw back down into the 800-900 range.

A word of advise before you start- carb tuning is pretty much last resort when troubleshooting your vehicle. In order, you should make sure all of the following is done first:

Visually inspect all vacuum lines for cracks, holes, or disconnections.

Check ignition components (plugs, wires, etc) I will check the wires by letting the car idle and misting water around the wires. (using an old pump hairspray bottle or water bottle, etc) Watch for a little fireworks show. This is easiest to see when it is at least partially dark in your work area.

Next check to make sure your ignition timing is within spec.
