Question about Kodak EasyShare DX6490 Digital Camera
I have a Kodak DX6490 and the flash has stopped working. I have tried an alternative battery (fully charged), and the flash is open but when I try to activate it by pressing the flash button, the flash icon just flashes on the display, then stops. I suspect the flash bulb has blown. Does anyone know whether it is economical to repair, or whether it is possible to do yourself? Anyone know likely costs or where parts can be obtained from? Many thanks, Dean.

the problem is usually caused by virus and sometimes it might be software failure also, which causes some of the menu not to function, the only solution is to flash ur cam software from the nearest kodak service centre..
