I have just changed my DVD writer to LG GH22 which came with a disc including power producer and powerDVD plus Nero Express and inCD I had previously used an earlier version of powerDVD & Director with no problem. What I am getting with the new software is a well produced video with no sound. I have ruled out the discs and the new player so it has to be either a PC setting or software problem. I use cyberlink power link express which came with the JVC camcorder again with no problem. The problem appears to be with power producer, even the previews do not detect sound. I know others have experienced this problem but as yet I have not seen a recommended solution. I am not technical so any replies in plain English please :)
-   My mpeg files from a Sony camcorder play with audio from the camcorder of the PC. When I import with Powerproducer, I get video and no audio, either in Preview or final output. There is an audio folder on the DVD, just video. -   awhet
