SOURCE: model: wfw9500tw01 f35 error

F35 is a water level error.
The water level switch (pressure switch) has malfunctioned.

If you remove the top panel, three screws in the back, you will have access to the pressure switch.

With the tub empty, remove the vinyl hose from the switch and blow backwards through the hose to clear any restrictions.

If the fault codes return after doing this, you will likely need to replace the pressure switch.

Also - please be sure to use He soap.

Replace pressure switch

The F35 error is for a suds problem, wrong kind of detergent or too much. If this does not fix it, replace pressure switch. It is located on the rh side, at the rear. Remove the top panel by removing 3 1/4 inch screws or t20 torxs at the back of the panel. After you remove the screws the panel should slide back. It is a brown and black switch with 1 connector and a black rubber hose at the bottom.

Error code f35

Too much detergent or wrong kind of detergent. If you use non HE detergent this will happen. You can remove the excess suds by running a cleaning cycle and adding cooking oil. The detergent will attatch itself to the oil and remove all soap residue, add an extra rinse to the cycle. Also run it empty.

I have a Maytag front load Washer Model MHWE500VW10 (5000 Series) . The dreaded F35 / SUD error code keeps coming up. I have checked the tubing and electrical connections to the Water Level Pressure...

Hi

There is only one Analog Pressure Sensor Switch Part no. W10156252, another one that it has is the water level switch (part no W10415587). I believe you are talking about the first one as that is what error code F35 means (ANALOG PRESSURE SENSOR FAILURE). Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

I am getting a Sud code and then an F35 error on my Maytag frontload washing machine. I have unplugged it...to reset and sometimes it works. Other times it doesn't. How can I fix it?

The F35 error code indicates an analog pressure sensor error. The analog pressure sensor is the component that detects water level in the washer tub. This error can usually be cleared but it will occur again if the main control board still detects a problem with the signal from the analog pressure sensor. This error code can be caused by a problem with the air pressure tube between the bottom of the washer tub and the analog pressure sensor. If you are able to unplug the washer and check this air pressure tube, you may be able to resolve this problem.

My washer keeps getting and F35 error code and stopping

Hope this helps.. The "F35" error code is indicating a problem with the analog pressure sensorswitch operation (key#20). There could be a blockage in the air dome or pressure switch hose. The pressure switch is located underneath the main top on the right hand side. The air dome is located on the back of the tub on theleft hand side. If the pressure switch hose and the air dome is clear of any blockages the likely failure is the water level pressure switch (key#20) part# W10156252. Replacing the pressure switch will likely resolve the "F35" issue.

Kenmore elite he5 is displaying code f35...can't find find what this code stands for

Hello,

Welcome to FixYa.

The F35 error code on most not all ...Whirlpool built front load washers ( this includes Kenmore, Amana, Maytag, Speed Queen and of course Whirlpool...but will vary slightly based on model number ) indicates the control has detected an analog pressure sensor error...please post the complete model number inside the door opening.

Whether the sensor is faulty or not remains to be seen, here's what to check first.

**Unplug the washer from the wall before servicing...safety first**

This error "F35", can be caused by the air pressure tube between the bottom of the washer tub and the analog pressure sensor, examine by removing the top and back panels and inspect the hose and dome, i.e.

macmarkus_367.jpg
If you find a cut/torn hose or loose connection in tube, then this is the likely cause the error. If it however appears okay, then you will likely need to replace the analog pressure sensor, i.e.

macmarkus_368.jpg
As I alluded to though, make sure the hose is clear and not cut and the air-dome at the tub isn't plugged and if not you'll have to replace the switch.

Let me know how you make out and I'll help further in any manner I can. Good luck.

Regards,

Macmarkus :)
