Please help! My camera says "Connecting", but the computer doesn't recognize it and I cannot get the pictures uploaded. This has been happening for a while, and no one has been able to help me-no one. I know that it isn't the SD card OR the USB cord, so it has to be the camera. PLEASE HELP!

I'm having the same problem! Mine is a Polaroid i830. It has always worked fine until today. When I plug it into my USB, it shows a Removable Drive under My Computer, but shows it as empty. It is NOT empty. I've tried it several times, tried updating the driver. This is a plug-n-play, no installation software. I also tried deleting the USB Mass Storage Device and letting Windows XP reinstall it but that didn't work either!

I can't view or upload the pictures I have taken on Manual mode only. I take the CF card out to view and upload the pictures I need, but when I tried to do so tonight, the manual mode pictures do not show...

Check to see whether you are saving them to an unusual location on the CF card. If you are finding the image files from the card but just cannot open them, you may have taken the pictures as "raw" format images. If they are in "raw" format, you may need special software to open them on the computer.

In the picture taking mode the image is barely visible on the LCD. Also there is not much color. A lot of pink. However, all prior existing pictures can be viewed fine. Thanks, Don

Please try to upload new firmware: I doubt that it will solve the issue, but the alternative is a repair.

Connect the camera with the computer.
Turn the camera on.
Click onto the link and follow the instructions.

My screen on my camera is pink. All pictures are PINK!!!

I seem to remember seeing something about this and I think it was on youtube, though at only 6 months old it should still be covered by the warranty and should be returned to the retailer for repair or replacement and no attempt made to repair it or fiddle around with it.

Screen problem??

This sounds like a cracked screen.. a leaf you say? is the leaf a graphic, perhaps an icon.. is it centered on the screen at all?

hmm....
I would take it to a certified repair center to see if they can replace the LCD panel.
Sounds like it needs to be replaced.

Nikon D70-pix on camera, can't upload to PC

Did the camera come with software? If so you may need to reload it. Maybe your reader is bad....etc. I wouldn't panic it sounds like a software issue.

My Olympus FE-170 won't upload pictures.

Format your camera's internal memory and also format any memory cards you insert.
Use a program called Recover4All to see exactly what is in your camera's internal memory.
Then insert a memory formatted memory card and take some pictures. see if they will upload.
