Sounds like your Kodak program isn't opened in your computer. You might have to manually open it, or if it usually starts automatically, just restart your computer.

If your photos and videos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos and to your computer. I just opened a brand new SD card and tried to use it with my P850, but when I insert the memory card it says "Memory card is unusable. Insert new memory card." I've tried formatting and...

If you just purchased this camera, you can try phoning place of purchase or make a trip there. It sounds as if the software in camera may be messed up.

I have deleted by mistake photos that i have taken ov my sons rugby tournament today is it possible to retrieve them thanks mandy

Yes it is, and it's actually quite easy. If you are using a memory card, take no more pics until you've recovered the photos, take the card out of the camera. This is to reduce the chance of you overwriting some of your "lost" photos. There are many good freeware photo recovery software options (Pandora, Recuva, SoftPerfect, VAIOsoft, PC Inspector...) that may help you recover your photos. This article reviews and outlines several of the better ones. None of these programs will ask you for money, and they have been checked malware/virus free from the well-known linked download site:

You'll need to use a card reader with these. If you don't have one, that's OK as they're very inexpensive. Just go on Amazon, and search for "SDHC card reader". Here's one like I own, and it's very good.

I have a Kodak EasyShare C330. I have a new memory card Kodak SD Card 128MB. When I insert it in the camera, a message displays stating memory full. When I try to format the card to the camera I received...

This error message means that the card is corrupted or formatted for another digital camera. Turn off the camera. Insert a new card or format the card.
Try to format the memmory card using a card reader and the PC this should solve your problem if not you have to replace the memmory card.

My camera will not accept the memory card

Hello, one thing you might want to try is to format the memory card. To do this:
-Insert the card into your computer in the correct slot
-Wait until the computer displays found new hardware/device is ready to use
-Open my computer and look for the card(usually given a drive letter of H,I,J...) On most machines, it will be under a category heading of devices with removable storage
-Right click and select format
-Normally the default settings will work fine
-Select ok/format/continue

Hope this helps
-Chris
