the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Light won't stay purple even when boom closed & button held

Depending on the phone... try and remove the current bluetooth device, if there is any. Close the headset. Go to the phone and choose discover, or search. Open the headset and press and hold the big button. It should then turn purple and should be recognized.
The boom should be open when you press the button.

Also make sure the battery on theheadset is charged before doing this.

The passkey will be 0000, four zeros.

Where can I download windows 7 x64 bluetooth drivers for a Motorola HX550 headset?

Scott
Go to your PC's manufacturer's website. There you might need to do install the Bluetooth drivers. With computers some of that stuff doesn't get installed right away in the factory.

I was paired to one phone, now I need to "unpair" because that's what Verizon told me to do, the phone pairs, but won't connect.

No such thing as unpairing, remember that not all bluetooth devices are compatible. A complete list of phones that are compatible are located on motorola's website, under consumer products, bluetooth. BTW, if you don't know the pin to pair the devices is 0000
